Capital One Multifamily Survey: Nearly Half Of Industry Pros Think Demand To Outstrip Supply

A recent survey by Capital One of 130 industry pros showed some mixed expectations with almost half - 46% of respondents expecting demand for multifamily to outstrip supply while 38% expect the opposite. Only 16% of those surveyed expect markets to be in equilibrium.

Global uncertainty raked as the biggest concern for these industry pros - up 6% over last year - while overbuilding featured last on their list of concerns believing the construction financing and a more disciplined approach by developers will keep supply in check.
